Our ministry is a non-sectarian healing ministry, a Church Without Walls. We do not tell anyone what they should believe or what “religion” they should follow. We minister to relieve pain and suffering, anguish, anger, frustration, unhappiness and all forms of dis-ease, and to help find happiness and contentment, and wholeness in body, mind and spirit. We are both ordained ministers, holding Doctorates of Divinity from The Universal Light Church, and have been students of the healing arts and the spiritual life for more than 35 years.
Issues In The Tissues
Our physical bodies respond to our every thought and emotion. Loving, happy thoughts can have wonderful healthful physical effects. However, a negative thought, such as anger, will cause blood to be diverted from the digestive system to the muscles. Digestion will nearly stop. Muscles will become tight and tense. The adrenal glands will secrete hormones into the blood stream. Blood clotting agents will also inter the blood stream. Heart rate will increase, blood pressure to rise, etc. etc.
One person my respond in this manor to some external stimuli, while another person experiencing the same external event will respond differently.
We will often hear people say, “that made me angry,” or, “you hurt my feelings.” But those are false statements. No one can make us angry, sad, happy, or anything else. That is an inside job. Sometimes we may decide consciously, for some manipulative reason, to respond negatively to a situation, but these negative reactions are usually an unconscious conditioned response. These negative conditioned recordings will continue to run in our unconscious, whenever triggered, until they are reprogrammed.
When we have unresolved psychological or emotional issues, the thought patterns associated with these issues will continue to be repeated over and over. Our body’s physiological reactions to these thought patterns will become “issues in the tissues.” These holding patterns can become more than tight, tense muscles. The deeper the emotional involvement, the more the hormones are effected. The more the body’s chemistry is out of balance, the more the systems and organs of the body are effected. This cycle must be broken for balance to return and health to be restored.
